Review a proposed change, respond with context, and follow the recorded result from Slack. Your integration performs the operation and reports what happened.
Available through assisted setup for Team workspaces. ActionBox is not listed in the Slack Marketplace. Confirm beta access before inviting reviewers.
Investigate a failed job
Bring the question and relevant context to a reviewer. Link to the failed run so the team can inspect the original evidence.
Request a recovery operation
Where Action Controls are enabled for the plan and workspace, request a declared operation and inspect its reported result. The Source executes the work.
Keep the decision and execution result connected.
An approval records the reviewer's answer. A control requests a secondary operation while the Action remains open. Neither establishes that the underlying job succeeded. Check the execution status and verification result before treating a failure as resolved.
The hosted beta accepts the first valid decision. Reviewer permissions still apply, and a stale form cannot replace a recorded answer. Multi-reviewer all or quorum policy creation is not available in the hosted beta.
Choose what appears in the channel.
Configure destinations and disclosure settings deliberately. People who can read a channel may differ from the eligible reviewers. Restricted Actions are excluded from channel delivery; Slack Connect and shared channels are outside the beta. Each reviewer must link their own ActionBox account.
Use Slack at your desk and the iPhone inbox when away from it. Both show the hosted Action state. Notification delivery does not authorize an operation.
